My name is Taylor Dumm, and I am a junior at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) majoring in Graphic Design with minors in Business and Art History.

I enjoy many aspects of design, but I am especially passionate about branding and print design. I love creating work that is visually engaging while communicating a clear and thoughtful idea. My experience includes designing posters, greeting cards, logos, t-shirt graphics, banners, flyers, and other visual materials.

Outside of my coursework, I am actively involved in Alpha Chi Omega, where I volunteer, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to efforts that raise awareness and funds for domestic violence prevention as well as other important causes. I also serve on the executive board of the Visual Communications Club at Mizzou. Through the club, I participate in design challenges, collaborate with other creatives, attend professional panels, and visit agencies to learn more about the industry. These experiences have helped me strengthen my design thinking, expand my creative perspective, and gain a deeper understanding of the professional design world.

My interest in digital media began at a young age. As a kid, I loved logging onto the family computer and playing with typefaces, colors, and point sizes on Microsoft Word. Over time, that curiosity grew into creating and editing videos with friends and later into making all of my Google Slides presentations look “pretty” throughout high school (probably spent more time doing that then actually doing the assignment😅). After taking a graphic design class in high school, I realized that design was my passion and exactly what I wanted to pursue.
